No. 122 St. Malo's

I was driving through the mountains of Colorado one summer day, not having much luck finding any subjects to photograph, when I came across this old Catholic Church. Although the lighting was not right (the sun was behind the building), I was intrigued by the building and the setting. I decided to spend the night in the area and see what the morning would bring. I began photographing the scene at first light and continued until the sun hit the large boulder on the left. This image stood out as my favorite and was taken about 45 minutes before I saw the sun.
