No. 125 Snow Happens!!!
This sequence of photos was taken in southern Michigan while I was photographing songbirds. It had snowed heavily the day before and the heavy, wet snow was falling off the limber cedar boughs without any help. A group of 8-10 white-tails periodically meandered through the forest opening I was photographing in, feeding on the cedar. Every time they came through, I hoped against hope that one would tug on a branch and get plastered with snow. Persistence paid off and once in the two days I was there, I got what I was after. I guess the old adage is true, "Good things come to those who wait"!
