No. 119 She's Mine

 

This pair of wolves were the first one's I ever photographed. It was the first snowfall of the year and I was photographing

them near a small stream which had been damned by beavers. While photographing the wolves, a beaver swam just 5 feet

behind me in the stream. I didn't know whether to keep photographing the wolves or turn my attention to the beaver.

I chose the wolves. A few minutes later, I got this shot, which is still one of my all-time favorites.
