No. 108 Sunset Storm

I was at a bird refuge in central Montana photographing waterfowl one midsummer's day. I had already retired for the night (I was camping) when the most incredible lightning storm that I have ever seen, before or since, literally erupted in the sky. Because it was too bright to sleep, I got my camera gear back out and started shooting. This single lightning strike, during the last vestiges of sunset, was the first shot on the roll and the only frame with lightning in it that I got that night.
