No. 140 African Leopard
This young leopard is one that I photographed several times while visiting southern Kenya. Sometimes I would encounter him alone and at others he would be with his mother. During this particular instance, I found him resting in a large tree. After a while, though, he wanted to get down and find a meal. Unfortunately for him, there were 3 mature lions, who would kill him in a minute, sleeping underneath the tree.
