No.214 Frosty Bison
On a late autumn morning, I was driving through the Hayden Valley of Yellowstone National Park when I came across a
small herd of bison waiting to cross the river. The temperature had dropped suddenly overnight making
the area around the still warm river a fairyland of hoar-frosted trees, grass and even bison. I stopped the car and
was able to get just a few shots of this big bull before he entered the fog-shrouded river.
