No. 147 Eagle Sunset
I was in Homer, Alaska photographing Bald Eagles when I came across this shot of a mature bird against the sunset sky. I had to use a flash to help light the bird so it would not be just a silhouette. Just to the left of center on the horizon is St. Augustine, an active volcano.
