No. 193 Eagle Landing
There is a spot near Homer, Alaska that is a magnet for Bald Eagles during the late winter months.
I have visited this wonderful area twice and hope to do so many more times. Approximately 200 birds congregate
in this area of open water and fish canneries. While there are plenty of birds to photograph, the weather often
makes it difficult to get good shots. On this particular trip, I had seen the sun for about 3 hours in a weeks visit.
During that period of sunshine, I was fortunate enough to capture this magnificent bird landing on the top
