No. 212 Snowbird

While photographing gray squirrels in my in-laws back yard, this male landed in a snow covered bush about 20 feet

to my right. I needed to turn myself and my camera around 90 degrees, but did not think that a skittish bird like

a cardinal would stay put for that. However, luck was with me and I got turned around, composed and focused the

shot and was able to get two frames before he flew away.
