No. 171 Cardinal Pair
I was photographing songbirds in a woodland opening in lower Michigan when I saw this pair
of Northern Cardinals perched in a snow-covered tree. Since they were almost in the same focal plane,
I thought I could get both of them in the same frame so that they would both be sharp. I was only able to
get 6-10 shots before the female moved away.
