No. 207 Bison With Babes
Each spring, the Bison of Yellowstone National Park give birth to rusty colored calves. Usually, a single calf is born.
It is not unusual, however, to see a cow with 2 or even 3 calves. Here, a mother bison nurses one of her twin calves
while its sibling looks on. The Firehole River can be seen in the background.
