No. 118 Motherly Love
For several months,I had planned on going to the northwestern part of my home state of Montana to photograph some adult mountain lions. The day I arrived, the area was receiving the first snowfall of the autumn. I was thrilled. When I found this mother lion with her two cubs, I was excited. When the female came and picked up one of her kittens just 30 feet from me after it had wandered too close, I was shooting like crazy.
